His are the hands that formed the mountains
His are the hands that flooded the seas
His are the hands the shaped humankind
His are the hands that came
His are the hands that reached for his mother
His are the hands that held hammer and saw
His are the hands that wrote in the sand
His are the hands that came
His are the hands that broke the bread
His are the hands that lifted the child
His are the hands that healed the leper
His are the hands that came
His are the hands that fashioned the tree
His are the hands that carried the cross
His are the hands that hung there then
His are the hands that came
His are the hands that felt the nails
His are the hands that bled
His are the hands that covered my sin
His are the hands that came
His are the hands that hold me now
His are the hands I seek
His are the hands that are coming again
His are the hands that came
John 19:18-19 NLT – There they nailed him to the cross. Two others were crucified with him, one on either side, with Jesus between them. And Pilate posted a sign on the cross that read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

Beautiful poem! How blessed we are that the hands of Jesus are always there for us to hold onto. And His hands are enough, no matter the storm we face in life. What peace to rest our hands in His each day, knowing that He will never, ever, leave us.
Truly, Linda, we are so blessed. To think that the hands that shaped the universe and formed our frame are the hands that were nailed to the cross to draw us near. Resting in His hands brings a rest and peace that is beyond all understanding. What a beautiful Savior! Bless you, sister!
Wishing you blessings as well!
