The Statue of Liberty

I weep as I stand

I weep as I gaze

I weep as I lift high

the torch of

Light,

Freedom,

Truth.

Let freedom in Christ ring loud and long.

For man’s fiercest freedom song

fades like trumpets tolling “Taps”

in the misty evening air.

    • I am so grateful to live in America. It is a beautiful country built on beautiful principles and I am so blessed to live here.
      However, mankind can only provide so much freedom. In the end, what we really need is the freedom only found in Christ.
